The Ideal gift this Christmas
Give your family the magical gift of
Let yourself venture into Neverland this Christmas with this faithful adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s magical tale of Peter Pan as never before seen.
From the classic fairytale comes a movie that will truly capture the hearts
of children and adults alike.
Not since Richard Donner’s The Goonies has a film captured the audacious spirit of youth in one swashbuckling adventure. Hogan’s purely magical Pan enjoys an infinite supply of imagination in a truly magical and breathtaking dream world where anything is possible…as long as you believe!
Laugh, cry and remember the joys of your childhood as we follow Peter Pan, the boy who didn’t want to grow up and Wendy, the girl who is told she has to, on their adventures through Neverland fighting the likes of the evil captain Hook and his pirate crew.
Meet the magical inhabitants of Neverland:
Tinkerbell, the lost boys, the giant crocodile and many more charismatic characters.
Proceding the vague Disney´s 50 year old animated adaptation Steven Spielberg’s Hook, we are given a fresh version of peter pan with which new generations of whimsy-challenged kids can be properly introduced to Barrie’s witty dialogs with the happy-go-lucky joys of Pan and his charismatic adventures.
This movie captures the essence of Peter Pan as never before, Cinematographer Donald McAlpine expands the rich colour palette he utilized in such vivid films as Moulin Rouge and Romeo+Juliet. And director P.J. Hogan slips in subplots of unrequited love, develops pangs of loneliness, and mixes fleeting flights of happiness with his heroism throughout the movie.
